ARHP's Role in the Media
Reproductive health is an area of the medical field historically impacted by controversy and often misunderstood by the public. The primary goal of ARHP's media relations work is to ensure truthful and unbiased reporting about important reproductive health topics in the media.
Our flagship program is our Media Response Network (MRN), a sub-set of ARHP's membership who are experts in their fields, understand deadlines, and are committed to ensuring reproductive health is covered accurately in the news. This approach has helped ARHP build strong relationships with reporters who know they can be connected with an expert right away. ARHP's MRN members have been quoted in major national media outlets such as the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, National Public Radio, ABC News, the Associated Press, Science Progress, Glamour and Marie Claire.
