Fertility and Pregnancy Planning for Women with IBD

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Counsel female patients with irritable bowel disease (IBD) on contraceptive options and the importance of planning a pregnancy.
  • Discuss the management of IBD medications for pre-conception and pregnant women.
