Position Responsibilities:
The Program Associate, Lawyers Network will report directly to the Senior Manager, Lawyers Network and is responsible for day-to-day administration and substantive support for the Lawyers Network unit. The Program Associate provides administrative support to the Senior Manager, Special Counsel, and Director.

Responsibilities: The Program Associate’s primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Engaging in internet and other fact research, including research about bar associations, professional organizations, and others;
  • Contributing to the development of materials for trainings and webinars for key stakeholders;
  • Coordinating and facilitating meetings and events;
  • Maintaining systems for tracking staff relationships with external individuals or organizations and for tracking work activities and progress;
  • Developing and maintaining files and shared document sites;
  • Assisting with intra- and inter-departmental coordination;
  • Maintaining assigned staff’s schedules and coordinating their travel;
  • Drafting internal communications and reports about the Lawyers Network;
  • Preparing correspondence and other documents;
  • Assisting the team with program, managerial, and operational matters as needed including budgeting, reporting, work planning, and database management (including preparing reimbursement and check requests); and
  • Handling information requests and other related duties and assignments as required.

  • Strong commitment to the Center’s mission, purpose, and values;
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience;
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; experience with SharePoint, webinar management, Salesforce, Convio, or other CRMs a plus;
  • Strong internet research capability;
  • Very detail-oriented with strong organizational skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively, to multi-task, and to work under pressure;
  • Office experience required; and
  • Experience with reproductive rights issues or a familiarity with other issues relating to women’s equality, human rights, civil rights, or racial and social justice issues is highly desirable.
