Description of Organization:
The Association of Reproductive Health Professionals (ARHP) is a non-profit membership association comprised of highly qualified and committed experts in reproductive health. Its members are professionals who provide reproductive health services and education, conduct reproductive health research, and influence reproductive health policy, and they include physicians, advanced practice clinicians (nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, and physician assistants), researchers, educators, pharmacists, and other professionals in reproductive health. Position Responsibilities:
The Association of Reproductive Health Professionals (ARHP) seeks an intern to work in the development department, at the organization’s headquarters in Washington, DC. We seek a talented individual who is skilled, conscientious, and motivated by working for a pro-choice membership association.
The development intern will have one specific project assigned to her/him to complete during their tenure. The project for this intern cycle will be coordinating the endowment campaign for ARHP’s east and west coast Felicia Stewart Center.
Additionally, the development intern will assist the development team with a variety of projects, potentially including:
- Drafting, editing, and researching funding requests
- Identifying, researching, and drafting correspondence for individual contributors
- Closely working with the team to fundraise for ARHP’s September conference
- Attending and contributing to staff and development team meetings
Qualifications:
