Position Responsibilities:
Position Summary: Physicians is looking for an experienced program Evaluator responsible for leading, designing, and implementing organization-wide evaluation efforts in order to measure the impact of our doctor-led advocacy and medical education programs related to reproductive health. The Evaluator analyzes and synthesizes data and creates and disseminates findings via audience-specific reports and presentations. This position is the in-house expert on current medical literature. This is a part-time overtime exempt position. The Evaluator will work 21hs per week, based on a set schedule. This position will be under a remote model; a flexible combination of in-office and work-from-home days for candidates in the NYC metropolitan area. This search is also open to candidates in other states under a satellite model; a full-time remote environment. We offer a full comprehensive compensation and benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage mostly by the organization. Reports to: Director, Education, Research, and Training Position Duties Include: • Lead all organization-wide evaluation efforts of doctor-led advocacy and medical education programs • Collect quantitative and qualitative data, analyze it, and interpret findings • Design pre/post-test surveys and other evaluation tools • Serve as liaison between external evaluators, consultants, and program staff • Communicate and work with a wide variety of stakeholders, including representatives of target populations • Develop innovative approaches to evaluation, and assess current evaluation methods while considering the realities affecting a program (e.g., a small budget) • Present evaluation results strategically in internal and external venues and clearly present findings orally and in writing to many audiences • Educate program personnel in designing and conducting evaluations • Apply appropriate theory of change model to program evaluation activities • Strategize, research, and implement best tools for evaluation, database management, and survey purposes • Maintain and update subscriptions to all data analysis software programs and medical journals • Database management of Physicians Leadership Training Academy and Rapid Response Network • Research sustainable access to medical and research databases • Author/coauthor scholarly articles as invited • Represent the organization at medical and public health conferences, coalitions, and events • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years quantitative and qualitative evaluation experience • Experience working with advocacy programs • Extensive experience with designing and implementing program evaluation methodology • Experience utilizing data analysis software (Stata, R, SPSS, Dedoose, or other relevant statistical analysis programs) • Proficiency with online survey applications (SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, REDCap, QuestionPro) • Experience with webinar and online meeting platforms (Adobe Connect a plus) • Presentation and public speaking experience • Appropriate interpretation of evaluation findings for lay audiences while avoiding jargon • Ability to interpret and accurately summarize medical literature and research • Highly skilled in use of computer systems, including Microsoft Office suite • Proficiency in using a variety of research tools (PubMed, Abstrackr, EndNote, RefWorks) • Strong organizational and time management skills • Strong writing and analytical skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Ability to handle and meet competing deadlines • Creative/inventive thinker • Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and efficiently with leaders with diverse personalities • Familiarity working with physicians and/or health care professionals preferred • Comfortable with telework technologies • Ability to travel as assigned • Ability to represent Physicians at external meetings and conferences • Strong commitment to reproductive health, rights, and justice
